The Throb

A low pulse is disturbing Greybridge.

For Iris, a shop clerk in a British canal town, it brings memories of incompatible lives—and a growing uncertainty about the people closest to her.

As residents begin to hear voices of loved ones they have lost, familiar streets become dangerous and the boundaries between flesh and place start to give way. Iris tries to help, even as her own body becomes less certain of where it belongs.

The Throb is a slow-burn novel of cosmic and body horror, rooted in family tensions, everyday routines, and the desperate wish to keep loved ones within reach.
